Terms & Shipping

By placing an order on wurdoo.com you agree to the terms below. We wrote them in plain language on purpose.

1. Orders and payment

• All prices are in US dollars (USD) and are charged through PayPal at checkout.
• An order is confirmed when payment succeeds and you receive a confirmation email.
• If a piece sells out between your order and our confirmation, we will refund you in full and tell you straight away.

2. Price and shipping

Worldwide shipping is included in the price. The amount you pay at checkout is what we receive; we cover the international postage.

What is not included is any import duty, VAT, or customs handling fee charged in your country — see section 5.

Bundles: the "any two for $88" offer means two one-of-a-kind Nine-Eye pieces chosen by you, shipped together in one tracked parcel. It cannot be split into two separate deliveries, and it cannot be combined with any other offer.

3. Making time

Each piece is woven by hand. Allow 3–5 working days for us to finish and pack your order before it is handed to the carrier. During peak seasons or Chinese public holidays this may be longer; we will tell you if so.

4. How we ship, and when it arrives

Every parcel travels by tracked international post — registered air mail or ePacket, whichever is the fastest tracked service available for your country. Parcels are not handed between commercial couriers, which keeps import costs as low as possible for you.

Dispatch: 3–5 working days after payment. Then, in transit:

These are estimates, not guarantees. Customs inspection, Chinese public holidays and your local postal service all affect them, and customs clearance can add a further 1–2 weeks. Tracking details are emailed to you the day your parcel leaves us.

Courier upgrade: we can send by DHL or UPS on request, but a commercial courier means formal customs entry and the buyer pays 35–45% import duty on the declared value. On a $48 piece the duty can cost more than the piece. Email us before ordering if you need it and we will quote the freight.

5. Import duties and taxes — the buyer pays

All parcels are sent DDU (delivered duty unpaid). This means any import duty, VAT, or customs handling fee is charged to you by your country's customs or postal service, and is not included in your payment to us.

We declare the true order value on the customs paperwork — we will not under-declare. As a rough guide only:

• United States: low-value postal shipments are generally assessed a percentage-of-value duty by US Customs.
• European Union: consignments under €150 are subject to a flat customs duty per item category, plus local VAT.
• Elsewhere: rules differ by country; check with your local customs office.

We cannot predict the exact amount, we do not collect it, and we cannot refund it. If you refuse to pay import charges and the parcel is returned to us, we will refund the product price minus the actual shipping cost we paid.

6. Address accuracy

You are responsible for giving a complete, correct delivery address. If a parcel is returned because an address was wrong or incomplete, we can resend it once you pay the additional postage. If the parcel is lost because of an incorrect address, we cannot refund it.

7. One of a kind — all sales are final

Nothing in our collection is produced twice. The piece you see photographed is the piece you receive; when it is gone, it is gone for good.

Because it cannot be remade or resold as new, all sales are final. We do not accept returns or exchanges for change of mind. The only exception is damage, defect, or receiving a piece that is not the one you ordered — set out in our Refund & Return Policy. Please ask us for extra photos or measurements before ordering if you are unsure.

8. Handmade character

Every piece is made by hand from natural and hand-finished materials. Slight variations in colour, twist, bead shape and length are inherent and are not defects.

9. Intellectual property

Photographs, text, and the Wurdoo name and mark on this site belong to Wurdoo. Please do not reuse them commercially without asking us.

10. Liability

Nothing here limits your legal rights as a consumer. Beyond that, our liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it. We are not liable for delays caused by customs, carriers, or events outside our control.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China. This does not remove any protection your local consumer law gives you.
